CAD is an acronym for Computer Aided Design and it is a very large part of
the computer industry. CAD drawings can be found in Architecture to Aviation
to Medical illustrations. Most high schools today teach CAD in the Technology
Education Departments supporting manufacturing and Architecture classes. We
have been teaching CAD since 1987. For our introduction to CAD the project is
a simple wall cross section. The goal is to explore another software
classification and discover the true power of CAD.
