Steps to set up
a CAD drawing…
Note: Use
the ESC key for the PEN UP command.
(Pen Up gets your
mouse free)
1.
Start the Auto sketch CAD program.
2.
Select “START DRAWING IMMEDIATELY”

Set your Drawing Options…

5.
Set your SCALE to ½” = 1’ (Architectural)

6.
Set your GRID to 2” Note: We will change grid scale often. Grids
control your mouse movement.

7.
Check your SNAP GRID. It must be ON. Note: This makes your mouse snap to
the set grid.

8.
Learn how to ZOOM IN.

9.
Learn to use ZOOM CONTROL, zoom PAGE.

10.
Try some drawing tools,

LINE SEGMENT, 3 POINT ARC, CIRCLES, RECTANGLES, SINGLE POLYLINE, SPLINES,
POINTS, TEXT, DIMENSIONS, HATCHES, PICTURE FROM FILE,
Note: Use the ESC key for PEN UP command. (gets your mouse free)
11.
Check the FLY OUTS…(Hold mouse DOWN)
